How to Download and Use Software Transformasi Koordinat by Bakosurtanal
Software Transformasi Koordinat by Bakosurtanal is a handy tool that can help you convert coordinates between different systems, such as Geografis (CGS), UTM, and TM3. It can also help you find the corner coordinates of a map or the map sheet number (NLP). This software is simple and does not require installation. You can download it from here.
In this article, we will show you how to use this software in three modes: interactive, extractive, and projection.
Interactive Mode
In this mode, you can convert coordinates one by one by entering the name of the point, the coordinates in the source system, and the datum. Then, you can click on the button that corresponds to the target system to get the converted coordinates. For example, if you want to convert from Geografis (CGS) to UTM, you can follow these steps:
Open the software (Run as administrator).
Select Geografis (CGS) as the source system and UTM as the target system.
Enter the name of the point (e.g., 1), the coordinates in Geografis (CGS) (e.g., 106° 49' 30.00" E, 6° 10' 30.00" S), and the datum (e.g., WGS84).
Click on the button "Geografis >> UTM" to get the converted coordinates in UTM (e.g., 48M 703.87 E 9321.97 N).
If you want to convert from TM3 to Geografis (CGS), you can follow these steps:
Open the software (Run as administrator) in interactive mode.
Select TM3 as the source system and Geografis (CGS) as the target system.
Enter the name of the point (e.g., 2), the coordinates in TM3 (e.g., 185307.38 E 1690327.372 N), and the zone number (e.g., 49).
Note that if the coordinates have thousands separators or decimal commas, you need to remove them or replace them with points.
Click on the button "TM3 >> Geografis" to get the converted coordinates in Geografis (CGS) (e.g., 106° 49' 30.00" E, 6° 10' 30.00" S).
Extractive Mode
In this mode, you can convert multiple coordinates at once by using a TXT file that has a standard format like this:
Name X Y
1 106°49'30.00"E 6°10'30.00"S
2 185307.38E 1690327.372N
You can follow these steps to use this mode:
Create a TXT file with your coordinates in the source system and save it in your computer.
Open the software (Run as administrator) in extractive mode.
Select the source system and the target system.
Browse and select your TXT file.
Click on "Convert" to get a new TXT file with your coordinates in the target system.
Projection Mode
In this mode, you can convert DXF files that contain AutoCAD drawings with coordinates in one system to another system. You can follow these steps to use this mode:
Create or obtain a DXF file with your drawings in the source system and save it in your computer.
Open a separate window for projection mode.
Select the source system and the target system.
Browse and select your DXF file.
Click on "Convert" to get a new DXF file with your drawings in the target system. 061ffe29dd
